YES I WANT YES
20:00 6 October
State Puppet Theatre (Small stage)
The theater was founded in 1997 by theater director Vladimir Chaplygin and Alexei Bagdasarov. “YES I WANT YES” is adapted from the last chapter of the novel “Ulysses” by James Joyce: a stream of consciousness (no full stops or commas!) monologue from the point of view of Molly Bloom, the protagonist's wife. Molly tells about herself, her men, her losses and about her choice to live her life from love, in spite of all the sad and sorrowful events in her life. The monologue flows like a river from wide to narrow; from a waterfall to a trickle of water.
