SUMMARY:Derossi & Celestino Company - "DUO CON PIANO Dance piece for two pianists" (3. State Chamber Theatre)
DESCRIPTION:From: Luxemburg and Germany\nDirector and Choreographer: Annalisa Derossi & Gianfranco Celestino \nGenre: Contemporary dance and music performance\nDuration: 60 min \nWhen Annalisa Derossi and Gianfranco Celestino met by chance on the internet\, they were stunned as they realized that both of them were trained pianists as well as professional dancers\, born and bred in Turin\, had been expatriots for many years. \nDuo con Piano– dance piece and music performance in one – a search for identity with many facets: a female and a male dancer\, a female and a male pianist\, an emigrated Italian woman and an emigrated Italian man\, a woman and a man. In Duo con Piano they leave the familiar stereotyped thinking of an art form and combine their equally strong competences like partners in crime: both dance\, both play piano\, both are in charge of the choreography as well as the composition – who is who\, who is what…? \nLocation on map: 3. SUMMARY:Opening Ceremony | Ryazan State Drama Theatre - "Faust" (8. State Theatre of Musical Comedy)
DESCRIPTION:From: Ryazan\, Russia\nDirected by Dmitriy Akrish \nGenre: Tragedy\nDuration: Ceremony 30 min\, Performance 90 min \nRyazan Regional Drama Theater was awarded the “Badge of Honour” is one of the oldest theaters in Russia\, was founded in 1787. In XVIII century\, known under the name of the “Opera House” and supported by the famous poet Gabriel Derzhavin. Since that time the theater has played an outstanding role in regional and all-russian cultural lives. \nFaust is a tragic character tortured by inner conflicts and confrontation between religious and scientific issues. Giving regard to a tragic scope of Goethe’s story\, the production by Dmitriy Akrish presents a contemporary person daily tempted by the modern world. Temptations\, doubts and anguish from satiety that is the image of modern Mephistopheles that can be reflected in any stranger. The performance is focused on personal inner conflict\, not on infernal exterior by Mephistopheles. \nLocation on map: 8. State Theatre of Musical Comedy – V.Sargsyan st. 7 \n[put_wpgm id=1]

SUMMARY:Compathy Theatre - "The Broken Moon" (4. YSITC Student Theatre)
DESCRIPTION:From: Seoul\, Republic of Korea\nDirected by Sungwoong Jin \nGenre: Drama\nDuration: 40 min \n“The Broken Moon” was performed in South Korea under the title of “Reunion\, Betrayal of plot” at 2017. We will adapt the original version of “a play with a play” as “Movement Drama”. We think that “one performance text” can transform itself according to the environment. So\, among texts in the original\, other scenes except for ‘Reading poems’ that reveal Korean sentiments\, will use “Music”\, “Video”\, “Movement” and “Ovze”. We plan to meet the world audience with the universal stage language we have built. \nLorem ipsum dolor sit amet\, consectetur adipisicing elit\, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam\, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco. \nArmenia has a painful history\, as shown in the movie “The Lark Farm”\, 2007. The same goes for South Korea. Both countries share a painful history of ‘violence’ and ‘massacre’. As a new generation\, we want to expose our hopes for a peaceful world in our work. \nLocation on map: 4.
