Nu Nu Theatre was founded at the end of 2012, in Bristol, UK, by two professional émigré-Romanian theatre-makers. The company focuses mainly on actors who use English as their second (non-native language).
This is a play about loneliness, about how we talk to ourselves, how we invent friends, and how we (can) die alone.

‘Experiment Ionesco’ is a deconstruction of Eugene Ionesco’s The Chairs. The piece has minimum light and no sound effects or music, apart from the actors’ voices. It is a piece that deliberately teases the audience’s patience: it deliberately wants people to think ”this is boring”, this lacks unity, this makes no real sense, tis is not interesting, this is childish, naïve, stupid.
